Statistics show; If you are lost in the wilderness, rescue may happen in 3-5 days minimum!  That's because it can take several days just to get a team into the field.  In a large disaster, relief might begin to be distributed in about 10-14 days due to the magnitude of the situation and because of Broken Infrastructure. e.g. broken roads, communications failure, power grids, water and sewer mains, etc.
