Over the years, I have given many Training Seminars for many respectable outdoor equipment outlets.  I have operated all around the world in many different and dynamic situations.  As a result, I have developed a training concept surrounding my "7 Life Essentials" (© 2006) concept so you can Quantify your gear and training needs to prepare for your Outdoor Recreational activities and for your Personal Disaster Preparedness.

You must be competent in your Survival Skills to be able to service your every day needs.

The "The 7 Life Essentials"© are:

  1. Food
  2. Water
  3. Heat
  4. Shelter
  5. Hygiene
  6. Medical
  7. Safety/Security

Multiply amount of Persons (X) Days (X) Gear/Resources for each person to = Quantity Total Resources.

Example:  Food for 2 people (X) 2 days = 3 meals each (X) 2 people (X) 2 days = 12 Meals Total.

Training/Capabilities:  There are two parts to Survival: 1. The skills necessary to fulfill each of the 7 Life Essentials. 2. How much time it takes to complete an "Essential" project.

Without knowing the later (Time), you cannot Plan or Prioritize your 7 Life Essentials.
